Peace Fest takes over Peace River for one weekend in July. Activities and attractions include inflatable rides, face painting, street performers, motocross demonstrations and main stage performances by well-known bands. Events take place on Main Street and at River Front Park.

Occurring on the same weekend at Peace Fest, the Gold Cup Jet Boat Race sees five classes participate in a Saturday race circling the town on the Peace River. Sunday's race participants will travel from the Peace River to the Watino Bridge, along the Smokey River and back.
